Homecoming 2019

Central State University celebrated Homecoming October 7-12, 2019. Jonathan Cumings, the assistant director of student engagement, said the event went well, even though it took a lot of work to make it happen.

“The planning was so stressful,” Cummings said.

Homecoming 2019 included the coronation of the Homecoming Court, a football game against Fort Valley State University, an outdoor food court, and a Gospel concert. A planned step show was canceled after Greek organizations declined to participate. A Sip and Paint social was also canceled. Administrators did not order the necessary supplies.
